*** BREAKING NEWS***

It’s on order and it’s coming to Cambuslang – the world’s first double operated excavator.

Manufactured by construction equipment specialist Sany, this unique machine was first introduced at the BICES exhibition in Beijing, China, where it was spotted by AB2K’s globetrotter MD John Murphy on one of his whistle-stop jet tours.

‘When I first saw it, I thought I was dreaming!’ says Murphy. ‘My head was in a spin as I watched it rotate. I could see how it could get double the work done in half the time with a quarter of resources and an eighth of the intelligence. It gives “double-shifting” an air of respectability at long last!’

Operations Manager Stuart Gardner says there are discounts to be had by hiring this whirling wonder. ‘It’s certainly not the first BOGOF I’ve heard at AB2K, but it is the largest. They’re calling it the big yin and yang!’

‘Our futuristic excavator requires two operators’, explains Service Manager, Mark Kirkwood. ‘They will work back to back against each other but also together as well as apart and then together again. It’s a bit like having a wife and a girlfriend in the same house.’

Murphy continues, ‘The two-person Sany has all the bells and whistles of modern day excavators, the likes of which has never been seen before. What we see here is the Alpha and Omega of machines. There is no doubt in my mind that this machine is the double bubble* in terms of design and quality.’

In a final double scoop, John Murphy is said to be in talks with several sets of Estonian twins to operate this spectacular spinner.
