MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that goods are checked and receipted on syrinx in a timely manner.
- Checking service reminders daily to ensure all services are booked in advance and all the relevant people have been made aware.
- Completing administrative duties and responding to queries within agreed timescales.
- Data entry onto in-house Syrinx system opening and closing jobs.
- Taking messages for other members of the team and relaying them correctly in a time appropriate manner.
- Supporting the compliance of company policies and procedures
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Able to perform all duties in a polite, efficient, professional and courteous manner
- Excellent verbal, numeric and written skills
- Excellent IT skills, fully skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Be familiar with and understand how to interrogate the Company’s management system (Syrinx) for analysis and reporting purposes
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to handle high call volumes efficiently
- Good attention to detail with a tenacious approach
- Able to manage priorities and deliver on time
- Administration experience in a construction/plant hire business
